BREADED CHICKEN TENDERS WITH GARLIC TOMATO SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:
10 chicken tenders (or less),
2 eggs lightly beaten,
1 cup flour,
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs,
oil for deep frying;

INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE:
3 (14 oz each) cans tomato and basil,
1 medium onion, diced,
5 cloves of garlic, minced,
1/4 cup olive oil,
salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, basil, parsley,
red crushed pepper

DIRECTIONS:
Place beaten eggs, bread crumbs and flour in three separate bowls. Dip the chicken in flour to coat; then dip in egg followed by bread crumbs; set aside.
Heat 2, 3 cups oil. Fry chicken on both sides for few minutes until golden brown.
To make the sauce, saute onion and garlic in 1/4 cup olive oil until nice and golden; stir in crushed tomatoes and basil, plus all the seasoning; cover and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes on very low heat. Pour sauce over chicken. Serve with garlic bread.

  1. Ce lalele frumoase!!!!! Arata foarte bine preparatul cu usturoi si sos de rosii. Daca te rog, poti sa-mi dai detalii?(bucatariaelenei@gmail.com) Este un preparatat potrivit la dieta mea, din acest motiv fac aceasta rugaminte.   5. Elena, intr-adevar lalelele sint superbe; din pacate nu-mi apartin, le-am imprumutat pt. citeva zile. Referitor la reteta o sa postez ceva detalii cam cum am facut, neavind o reteta scrisa ci facut totul pe moment nu notez de fiecare data ce si cit pun; ok deci urmeaza!
