2 cups flour,
4 teaspoons baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1/2 cup shortening,
1 egg,
2/3 cup milk,
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder,
1/2 teaspoon black pepper,
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning,
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley,
1/2 cup green onion, green part only,
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese;
DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, all the seasonings, parsley and onion. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Whisk egg and milk; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Turn onto a well-floured surface; for 1, 2 minutes. Roll to a 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a floured biscuit cutter. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and top with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

ReplyDeletewow, ce frumos au crescut! nu ma dau in vant dupa biscuitii astia dar nina, tu faci orice sa arate divin! categoric am sa-i incerc, imi place ca au ceapa si patrunjel si condimente - cred ca intotdeauna i-am gasit plicticosi pentru ca nu sunt condimentati. dar asa, si cu branza deasupra! un deliciu! 8 martie fericit si tie, pupici!
